In front of a light blue background there is a "Rose Madder" painted foam object (30 cm high rectangle with smoothed edges), which is being punched and squeezed by a hand. The situation is photographed frontally, making the foam object seem two dimensional, and the marks of the applied pressure appear paradoxical.
